You ask, Evolve answers! Evolve’s Chief Solution Strategist, Alex Ryan, and Lead Instructional Designer, Tristia Hennessey answer your learning and education technology questions.
How can organizations maximize technology with only limited time for prep, delivery, execution, and implementation of that technology?
Priority should be given to evaluating and potentially utilizing the tools and technology that are currently in place and seeing whether there are any underutilized features within the existing technology which can be adapted to meet your business needs.
For example – many organizations use Microsoft Teams to aid with communication between departments, and the file repository feature to share and store files. How about using other useful features like chat box for communication? Try tagging files with key words to allow them to be found more easily, use the whiteboard annotation and meeting annotation tools improve your collaboration game and increase audience engagement.
New tools and technology aren’t always needed, it may just be a case of looking at what’s currently being used and increase the functionality of existing tools to suit your business needs, the needs of the user, and the needs of your audience or customer.
